Stay Away From Email and Zip Submits

Email and zip submits are web pages with an advertisement that require you to submit your zip code or email address before seeing the details of the offer. They are almost always found accompanying advertisements for “free” stuff. Such as iPods, video games consoles, airline tickets, grills, and even groceries.

Affiliate marketers like to advertise email and zip submits because they will receive between $1.00-$1.50 on average per zip code or email submitted. You will see these everywhere but most often on popular sites such as Facebook, Myspace, Craigslist, Google, and other search engines.

Many sites have policies against the use of submits, but scammers always have a way around. For example:

Despite Facebook’s strict policy regarding submits shady advertisers use different techniques to get their ads past the screening process by using IP re-directors. These, in short, recognize the IP addresses of the Facebook team who review the ads. So when they go to review the shady ad, they are redirected to a legitimate ad verses the shady ad everyone else sees.

The bottom line is STAY AWAY FROM EMAIL AND ZIP SUBMITS! If you enter personal information, specifically your email address, you will start receiving an enormous amount of spam.

The so called “free” scam is one of the biggest BS cons out there. If you read the fine print of these sites it will tell you that you have to complete several offers, all of which require credit cards, and will end up costing you a fortune. Not to mention the enormous possibility of credit card fraud.

Below, I have compiled a list of as many “companies” as I could find who operate these email and zip submit sites. If you see any of these company names, which are displayed on the advertisements, STAY AWAY!
